Happy New Year to RH Bill Advocates
I know, I know. 2011 has been a bad year for all of you. The divisive bill that all of you are pushing for are still not passed. Such a sad Holiday Season for you. So, as a consolation, I will share this gift that is being tossed around by many people in Facebook.
RH Bill will Make Condom Manufacturers Happy
So, if the RH Bill becomes law, where will the government pour our money? The answer is this:
.
Pouring money on artificial contraceptive tools like condom will just waste our money. Why? Because the money that should have been used for important things like education, farm-to-market roads, tourist infrastructures will be given to manufacturers of condoms.
In the end, we will are still stuck in the same problem of poverty while condom manufacturers are happy with the sudden increase of their income because the government purchased all of their wares.

Congressman Manny Pacquiao is Smarter than What You Think
That is an amusing take on what really transpired last week in the Philippine Congress when Congressman Manny Pacquiao took the mic and start questioning Congressman Edcel Lagman, who is the chief sponsor of the controversial Reproductive Health Bill (RH Bill).
In the course of questioning, Congressman Pacquiao asked Edcel Lagman about certain provisions in the RH Bill such as the mandatory sex education, the mandatory giving of “reproductive health services” to employees by employers, and other foul provisions of the RH Bill.
Edcel Lagman insisted that all those provisions were already amended.
The real punch came to Lagman when Manny Pacquao told him that the Period of Amendments follows the Period of Interpellation. Congressman Pacquiao asked when did the amendments were adopted in the current version of the RH Bill. He also asked what House Rules did Lagman used to effect the alleged amendments. Edcel Lagman had no answer.
It is frustrating to see the mainstream media picture Pacquiao as a person that who don't know what he is doing. Seems like his anti-RH stance placed him under the fire of these biased media establishments like GMA 7 and ABS-CBN and these media entities keep on ridiculing and making fun of him.
Why is the media silent about the false claim of Edcel Lagman that amendments were already placed in HB 4244? If GMA 7 and ABS-CBN are really unbiased and the bearer of truth then why they don't expose this lie of Lagman?
Congressman Manny Pacquiao is a serious sportsman and it showed in all his victories inside the boxing ring. It seems like Congressman Manny Pacquiao is applying the same diligence in his stint as a legislator and the representative of his constituents in Sarangani.
Manny Pacquiao is serious and smart and the pro-RH camp is hating that fact.

Artificial Family Planning Tools are Dangerous
Promoters of the Reproductive Health Bill (HB 4244) say that they are pushing for medically-safe artificial family planning methods. Safe? Do they know what they are talking about? Or maybe they want to downplay the risks of artificial family planning tools so that their contraceptive businesses will continue being profitable. Let's hear from condom, birth control pill and IUD how safe they are:
.
(Click the image for a larger view)
Yup, that's true. These artificial family planning tools are not that medically-safe. They have their own risks and I believe that it is time for the government and artificial family planning businesses to broadcast the truth.
Condoms, for instance, are being marketed as a perfect artificial family tool to keep men from making their sex partners pregnant and prevent from contracting sexually-transmitted diseases (STDs). This is untrue. Condoms have failure rate of 10% to 15% and you can still make a woman pregnant because of manufacture defects, breakage and slippage. Condoms do not guarantee "safe-sex" because it does not guarantee that it can block HIV or AIDS virus 100%. Also, other STDs like genital warts can also be contracted even if condoms work perfectly.
Birth control pills, on the other hand, bring a host of grave side-effects to women like breast cancer and liver cancer. This fact is admitted by ex-DOH Secretary Esperanza Cabral in a radio interview.
Intra-uterine devices or IUD creates holes inside the womb and migrates to colon. This happens because the woman's body treats IUD as a foreign object and does its best to remove it inside the womb. Because of this, the womb gets affected and gets "eaten" by IUD in the process. That's why it can create holes on uterine lining.
It is bad that legislators pushing the passage of Reproductive Health Bill are silent on these facts regarding the artificial family planning tools that RH Bill promotes. When will they say to the public that artificial family planning tools have negative effects to our health? C'mon Edcel Lagman, do a Cabral and admit the truth.

Contraceptive Pills Increases Breast Cancer Risk
“The truth always comes out.” – this is the lesson that the pushers of Reproductive Health Bill must realize. Another lesson that they must learn is “the truth cannot be ignored.”
Yes, the truth can’t be ignored and Esperanza Cabral, the ex-DOH secretary, showed us that this is true. In a radio interview in DZIQ. Esperanza Cabral admitted that taking CONTRACEPTIVE PILLS INCREASES THE RISK OF BREAST CANCER.
Yes, oh, yes. That is the truth and Cabral can’t deny nor ignore it. Pro-life groups had been stating this fact for a long time now.
CONTRACEPTIVE PILL KILLS.
In the case of the mother, she will get grave side effects like breast cancer.
For the newly formed baby, it will lead to death because contraceptive pills change the mother’s womb and prevent implantation of newly formed life.
It is apt to say this:
.
CONTRACEPTIVE PILLS. NAKAMAMATAY.
Now, Cabral, tell us more about contraceptive pills. And please, tell the truth and don’t deceive Filipino women, especially those who are already taking these carcinogenic pills.

How the RH Bill Will Waste Taxpayers' Money
I found an insightful video from I Oppose the RH Bill Facebook page showing how the Philippines Government will waste billions of pesos just by distributing "free" condoms if the Reproductive Health Bill become a law (I certainly hope not).
Here is the video:
It was assumed that around 12 million Filipino married men can demand condoms if the RH Bill became a law. Old men are already removed in the figure and according to census, there 15 million married men. It was also assumed that a piece of condom costs 5 pesos. It was also assumed that a married Filipino man will get 3 condoms per week plus during other special events like birthday, promotions, etc.
Doing some simple multiplication, the government will spend a whopping 9 BILLION. That is 9 Billion on condoms alone and sexually active single men are not included in this figure. Aside from that, RH Bill will also require the government to distribute "free" birth pills, IUDs and other contraceptive tools.
What a waste of money. 9 Billion will go a long way in helping the agriculture sector. That's where the money should go.
The manufacturers of condoms will be laughing at us, the Filipino people, once the RH Bill is passed. They will laugh like the turkey at the end of the video while they are sitting on our hard-earned money.

A Good Anti-RH Bill Video
I saw a good video regarding the Reproductive Health Bill (RH Bill) In the I Oppose the RH Bill Facebook fan page. Here is that anti-RH video:
The Anti-RH Bill video may be banned by YouTube so in the case that it is banned, please watch the video at Gloria.Tv.
The video pretty summarizes the points against the RH Bill.
The video pretty summarizes the points against the RH Bill.
This video talks about the following points:
1. The Philippine Constitution protects the life of both the mother and the unborn. Thus it is unconstitutional to pass a law that will endanger the life of both the mother and the unborn. Most contraceptive pills that are being promoted by the RH Bill cause cancer, which threaten the life of women. Also, these pills are aborticafent, which means that it prevents newly conceived child from being implanted to uterine wall and results to the death of the child.
2. Life begins the moment the sperm and egg cells unite. This is the fact verified by the Philippine Medical Association.
3. The RH Bill is being pushed by people and organizations that have racist agenda, specifically by the white supremacy groups. Leading pusher of the RH Bill is Planned Parenthood, which is the leading abortion provider in USA. The founder of Planned Parenthood is a racist and aimed to reduce the number of “inferior races.”
4. Increased in the use of contraception leads to increase of abortion rates. This is verified by Guttmacher Institute and Planned Parenthood, both of which are pro-abortion groups.
5. Planned Parenthood is associated with the local organizations that push for the RH Bill, like Likhaan. With notoriety of Planned Parenthood with regards to their abortion business, it is not fartfetched to think that Likhaan will also push for an abortion bill in the future.
6. The RH Bill will lead the Philippines to Demographic Winter, which is a situation wherein there are very few babies being born and the current generation is ageing. This is the situation faced by Japan, Korea and European countries that passed their own versions of the RH Bill in the past. These countries have few young people supporting a large number of old people. Thus, these countries rely on immigrants to keep their economy running.
Those are the few points raised in the video regarding the RH Bill. I hope that you watch and share the video to your friends and family. Let us inform our kababayans regarding the evil of RH Bill.

United in the Defense of Life
The Feast of the Annunciation is one of the important feast of the Church. The feast commemorates the moment when Mary say “yes” to the will of God and let the Holy Spirit conceive a life inside her womb. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, was conceived unto this world when Mary said “yes” to God in her full obedience to God.
That is why the Feast of the Annunciation is the opportune time for those who value life to say “yes” and stand up for life. I am also one of those who said “yes” and joined thousands of Filipinos who values life and reject the Reproductive Health Bill (RH Bill). I answered the call of the Church to send a message to our legislators that Filipinos do not want the RH Bill.
Right after my work, I went directly to Quirino Grandstand, where the prayer rally is being held. While I am walking at Rizal Park, I saw many people who are also walking to Quirino Grandstand. What caught my attention is this:
.
.
There are so many people that attended the prayer rally. Many of them are priests, nuns and seminarians.
.
.
.
However, majority of those who attended that prayer rally are the lay Catholics who stand by the teachings of the Church regarding sex education; contraception; and sanctity of life, body, marriage and family.
.
.
The so-called “Reproductive Health” Bill does not really address the issue that it purports to solve. Its solution to poverty in the country is by reducing the number of poor people via “free” distribution of contraceptive tools like IUD, contraceptive pills and condoms; which diverts funds from important developmental projects for the agriculture sector, tourism industry and the education sector. The RH Bill’s solution to maternal death is by giving women tools that will prevent them from conceiving a child but will give them health complications. It is a known fact that many contraceptive pills causes breast cancer and the increase of incidence of that kind of cancer is blamed on the increased use of carcinogenic contraceptive pills. Also, other contraceptive tools like IUD rust inside the woman’s reproductive organ and cause health problems.
There are many questions that the congressmen pushing for the RH Bill that can’t address and it makes me wonder why they are rushing it in Congress without considering the medical, scientific and economic facts that are surfacing from various countries around the world that adopted similar bills or laws. Large numbers of studies contradicting the provisions of the RH Bill are just out there but the legislators pushing the RH Bill ignore those things and continue in rushing this bill.
I can only pray to God and ask intercession from Mary and Joseph for the non-passage of this bill.

Prayer to Jesus (The Author of Life)
Oh dear Jesus, author of grace
Lead us in this battle we face
Strengthen our hearts and guide our ways
To make this country a better place
Open our eyes that we may see clearly
How important it is to protect the family
If it is degraded, we destroy society
As well as the hope of progress in our country
Open our ears that we may hear
Your word which takes away our fear
Make us realize that You are always here
Inspire us to protect the values we hold so dear
Open our mouths that we may speak
The truth to those who are confused and sick
Make us humble and make us meek
Until we achieve the goal we tirelessly seek
Oh loving Jesus, Prince of Light
Be with us as we continue this fight
To give the innocent unborn their basic right
With Your help, we will work with greater might
Make us persevering in fighting this bill
As we fully believe this is not Your will
No time to be silent, no time to stay still
For it is Your people, too, they secretly kill
Oh Jesus, come into our hearts and stay
And let Your presence show us the way
For this bill not to be passed, we earnestly pray
Because it will lead a lot of people astray
Oh Holy Spirit, the Paraclete
Be our strength; make us stand on our feet
There is no turning back, there is no retreat
Because with You, Lord, there is no defeat
AMEN
A prayer composed by John Juat.

It is all about money. Yes, my dear readers. I am appalled. I am dismayed. I am disgusted with these congressmen who chose money over people's welfare. I am irritated to know that these "high and mighty" legislators disregarded valid arguments against the Reproductive Health Bill over the faulty economics and medical hula-baloo.
May the Lord enlighten their minds and finally throw the RH Bill to the trash bin. May Jesus Christ avenge the deaths of the unborn because these legislators prefer a law that will lead to abortion and will kill many babies inside their mothers womb. May the Holy Spirit guide the hearts of Sonny Belmonte and all members of the Lower House and may they see the errors of the RH Bill.

The Christmas Villains and the Reproductive Health Bill
The debate on the most controversial Reproductive Health Bill has been raging for a long time now and it seems that the "battles" had become more intense in the second half of this year. As a Pinoy who is concerned about our country's plight, I can never turn a blind eye to this issue. I have to take side and I took the side of the people opposing this RH Bill.
As person opposing the RH Bill, let me share you this this piece I read in the FB page of 100% Katolikong Pinoy. I hope that this post will help you understand why we are opposing the RH Bill.
---
It is within the 100-day countdown before Christmas that the issue of the Reproductive Health Bill began to heat up again this year. It occurred on the time that people are anticipating this most-liked season. Everyone's hearts are put into the crucible and tried. Hearts begin to examine their perspectives in life, about life and for life. No wonder, for the bill itself deals with life. For the Pro-RH Billers (i.e those who approve or agree with the bill), it will serve as the means to upheave the poor from their dire condition, believing that it will give them the chance and the "choice" to make their life better. On the other hand, for the Anti-RH Billers (i.e. those who oppose or disagree with the bill), it will be a threat not only to life, but also to morality, on which they believe that no true upheaval for the poor will happen if people will tolerate what is immoral.

The Christmas Villains and the RH Bill
I believe there is purpose why the issue is dealt in the time when Christmas is approaching. Christmas, for many, is the year's pinnacle of everything lived and loved. December gives off the "ergo" of our yearlong routines, goals and schedules. It is the time for the ahhs, of singing rehearsals, of free breathing and regeneration as well. It is in this time that we are agog to receive bonuses, 13th-month pays, aguinaldos and gifts to please ourselves. It is in this time that we plan to spend worthwhile time with family and friends, pleasing them with this and that. In short, it is this time that we define and realize the kind of life we are living.
With regards to the RH Bill, the individual is questioned once again. This has a become a challenge to Filipinos, especially to Catholics. Many rose and fell through this issue. Thoughts have been revealed. Oppositions arose. Catholics against Catholics, household members against fellow household members. The scene created heroes and villains. Life is unfolding, it will always give the good things and the bad things. For the meantime it is not yet determined who were the heroes and the villains. Thankfully God seemed to have planned it all by letting the issue drive into Christmas, for Christmas is the celebration of God and his goodness, and if God is in the midst, his enemies are easily known and exposed.
We can identify them through the Christmas villains.
1. Ebenezer Scrooge.
Marley is dead and cannot do well anymore, so is Mr. Scrooge his friend. Charles Dicken's character is not only selfish but also views the poor in the negative way. He views the poor as inconvenient. He ignores the fact that the poor are humans too who has to be respected. Here is an excerpt of the book A Christmas Carol where Scrooge is talking with two gentlemen who were asking donations to be given to charity.
"Under the impression that they scarcely furnish Christian cheer of mind or body to the multitude," returned the gentleman, "a few of us are endeavouring to raise a fund to buy the Poor some meat and drink and means of warmth. We choose this time, because it is a time, of all others, when Want is keenly felt, and Abundance rejoices. What shall I put you down for?"
"Nothing!" Scrooge replied.
"You wish to be anonymous?"
"I wish to be left alone," said Scrooge. "Since you ask me what I wish, gentlemen, that is my answer. I don't make merry myself at Christmas and I can't afford to make idle people merry. I help to support the establishments I have mentioned -- they cost enough; and those who are badly off must go there."
"Many can't go there; and many would rather die."
"If they would rather die," said Scrooge, "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population. Besides -- excuse me -- I don't know that."
(Stave 1: Marley's Ghost)
In this case, Scrooge refused to give money to the gentlemen. Scrooge clarifies that he has no heart to perform charity. The gentlemen explained that there are still many people who needs help and that they could die. Scrooge views it as an opportunity, to decrease the numbers of the poor, by saying that it has to "decrease the surplus population." This is resonant with what the RH Bill views on population and the poor.
2. The Grinch
This creature shows great disdain for Christmas, wanting to destroy it with all his little brain could think of. Unable to conceive excellent ideas to do so, he opted to "steal" Christmas, which is a stupid yet clever way but did not help eradicate Christmas totally from the citizens of Whoville. Christmas is too "natural" for the townsfolk.
Christmas is primarily a celebration for a natural event: birth. Since birth denotes life, Christmas is also a celebration of life. Like the Grinch, RH Bill wants to steal something important from the natural. Artificial methods of family planning are to be introduced and taught. Artificial Family Planning tries to have the same effect like that of Natural Family Planning, but in the easier and more convenient way. But the artificial way will not compare to the fruits of the natural way, in the moral, interpersonal and spiritual dimensions of a person. Something that is wholesome is always greater than those of the lesser degree. The Grinch will fail if we will recognize the benefits of the natural way in morals and conscience.
3. Herod.
A king of Judah, he was notorious in history for killing those who can be potential threat to his throne. He killed even his sons and everyone whom he sees as dangerous to his rule. When the wise men from the East entered Jerusalem and inquired about the "King of the Jews", he planned to do something against this new born King. Eventually the wise men were warned of the King's evil scheme and did not return to him. Furious, the King has slain the children of Bethlehem and of Judah to prevent this Child-King from living so that it cannot endanger him of his power anymore.
Condoms and pills do the same thing: prevention. Satan has learned his lesson. Though he do makes his job in destroying multitudes of souls, he knew that God will be ever mightier and more powerful than him. This God can call holy men directly from the womb, examples are St. John the Baptists and the Blessed Virgin Mary. These holy men and women called from birth to be holy, God can use to fight against the devil. On the other hand, God can help turn the worst sinner to be a saint, examples are Saint Augustine and St. Paul. And the effects of God's power through these people is far greater and richer than the effects of evil in this world. Thus, Satan has learned his lesson. He willingly wants to obstruct life and attack life even in the womb, in order to block and kill human beings whom God would possibly call for his purpose to help others, to do good and to counter Satan. Satan is more concerned and afraid with these future people than those whom he can pull down and lead astray.
***************
These villains may enter the churches soon in the nine-day novena masses or even at Christmas eve, but I bet they can't stand the sight of the Babe in that humble manger, whom God has sent that night to "men of good will" and not to Herod or to any other Christmas villains, especially now that they even hate and malign the very institution that Baby has been here for - the Church. That is why, here in 100% KATOLIKONG PINOY, we strive to lead the madlang faithful to the truth, so we can approach our Lord of natural beauty and humility, WITHOUT FEAR, WITHOUT SHAME, AND WITHOUT GUILT. We wish that our brethren who turns out to be villains will reform like Scrooge before it is too late, will be touched into the core like The Grinch in his actual realizations, and will be be humbled like Herod realizing that his deathbed is his final throne and nothing more to come.
In the meantime, the 100% KATOLIKONG PINOY! will fight side by side with the Church against this bill. Whatever are the circumstances, we are ready to face it, even to the point of bloodshed.
We do not want to waste the purpose Jesus has come here for, for us this Christmas.
